Solar microgrid commissioned at Melsiripura processing site
Our refining facility now runs on a dedicated solar microgrid. The 280 kW installation displaces an estimated 410 tonnes of CO₂ annually and powers neighbouring community buildings during off-shifts.
Our refining facility at Melsiripura has been running on a dedicated 280 kW solar microgrid since December 2025.
The installation displaces an estimated 410 tonnes of CO₂ per year compared with grid-equivalent generation. During off-shift hours, surplus capacity is shared with three neighbouring community buildings: the village hall, the primary school, and the medical clinic.
Sustainability is, for us, a consequence of our source rather than a marketing position. We do not need high-temperature synthesis. We do not need aggressive chemistry. The geology has done most of the work for us; the only remaining task was to finish it cleanly.
