Our annual scholarship fund - open to children of Ragedara mineworkers and surrounding communities - has been expanded to support twenty-four university placements for the 2026 academic year.
The Ragedara Miners' Scholarship Fund - established to support the children of mineworkers and surrounding villages through university - has been expanded for the 2026 academic year to twenty-four placements.
Recipients are studying across science, engineering, medicine and the arts at universities in Sri Lanka and abroad. Selection is run independently of Graphenera management; we provide the funding and the introductions, but never the verdict.
We are proud of every scholar and continue to expand the programme each year.
